Sri Lanka is in the midst of a financial and humanitarian catastrophe. As inflation reaches new heights, prices of food and essential items have skyrocketed.
There is a critical, acute shortage of medicines. Doctors across Sri Lanka say hospitals are running out of medicines and essential supplies as the country’s economic crisis worsens.

With this ongoing financial crisis, patients, including children, are in dire need of life-saving medicines and equipment, which are running out.

Australians of Sri Lankan origin and other well-wishers who wish to support Sri Lankans in their hour of need can lend a hand now to ease their suffering.

With the professional guidance of the Sri Lankan Medical Association of Western Australia, we are now appealing to your kind generosity to raise funds. The funds will be used to assist in the purchase of life-saving medical equipment and drugs in Sri Lanka in their hour of need.
These items will be identified and recommended by the Sri Lankan Medical Association of Western Australia (SLMAWA) with direct assistance from their medical colleagues in Sri Lanka.  Supplies will be procured and directly supplied to the hospitals.
We urge you to open your hearts and extend your kind generosity to make a difference to thousands of Sri Lankans in their time of need.

Please make your donations to the RIDMA Foundation Inc., (an Australian Registered Charity).
The utilisation of all donations raised will be done in a completely transparent manner.
